What database uses .TPS file types?

I’m looking at a program where the database tables are stored as *.tps files. What database is that? (What software package could I use to open the tables?)

It would help if we knew what software package you were using. Is it Corel Family Tree? In any case, .tps files are most likely TopSpeed data files. You’ll need either a program written in clarion or an ODBC driver to acess them. A company called SoftVelocity sells one for about $249. There’s a free version on this website. I have no idea how good this free driver might be. However, if you have a driver, you may be able to import the data into another database package if you can be authenticated. If it’s a commercial-grade program, you probably can’t.

tps is the file extension for a TopSpeed Database

And don’t forget to use the new cover sheet on the TPS report. :stuck_out_tongue:

Actually I was evaluating a software package called The Arbiter, which is a scheduling and payroll package for sports officials. I was rooting around the files and saw that the db files were of type TPS. I was seeking a quick and dirty way to open them as I have written my own software package of this type, but not nearly as complex.

Thanks everybody.
