I did, too! We got paid every Wednesday, in cash. It was nice. Now, I get paid every other Friday. At one job, we did get paid on the 15th and the last day. I liked that a lot. The check on the 15th was always the best, because that’s when we got our performance bonuses for the previous month.
Mr.Moon gets paid every other Friday (and October is a 3 pay month for him too). I am paid 2 wks after my company invoices my agency which works out to approximately the 15th and 30th of each month. Money moves from the business account to the personal account on a very random basis.
Once-a-month, on the 15th or closest business day to the 15th.
I’m paid on the 15th and the last day of the month, unless either is on a weekend, then it moves to the previous Friday (I think).
3rd Friday of the month…sometimes it’s 4 weeks between paychecks
, sometimes 5
My main job is a salaried position with paychecks getting direct deposited (they have to be DD< the university doesn’t issue any paper checks with the exception of your very first one, since odds are good the DD might not be set up yet.) They are in my account by 12:01 AM on the 15th and 1st. If the 15th or 1st is a Sunday or holiday, it will be the day before, or if the holiday is on a Monday, it will be two days before, since the day before that is a Sunday.
My second job is weekly paychecks that are direct deposited every Friday at 12:01. Those don’t have to be DD but I’m bad about going to the bank so it’s best that way. Of course, since the second job is waiting tables, most of my actual money I make from that is cash, and the DD checks are anywhere from nothing to twenty bucks, depending on how much I made in tips. The more tips I make, the less I get in the check, since more tips = more taxes withheld, and since I only work ~9 hours a week there, there’s not a lot of pay to take the taxes out of.
I get paid every Monday afternoon.
Thursday, unless it’s a Holiday, then the earliest workday prior to the Thursday.
I get paid on the 15th and the last day of the month. The company aim to have the money available to the employee ON the due date so it’s normally in the account the day prior and if payday falls on a weekend or public holiday it will be in the account on the business day prior, so always early, never late.
Friday
Me too. Tomorrow is payday. Woohoo!!
I get paid fortnightly on Wednesday. Pay period ends Sunday, payroll is calculated Monday, processed Tuesday and hits my account Wednesday.
Every other Friday – not today, dammit. I don’t know exactly what time it hits my bank account but it’s always there when I get up on payday mornings.
I hate, hate, hate being paid biweekly. I would much rather it be the 1st and 15th. It makes the job of juggling bill-paying…interesting, especially the two that get yanked straight from my account.
I get paid anywhere from the 25th to the 31st of the month. Except for December, which comes in before Christmas. I have no idea what the system is. It’s usually a Tuesday for some reason, but Wednesday and Thursday are not uncommon. I have no idea if there’s a set day to get paid or not, so I don’t know if for some months they just get the direct deposit in early and others they don’t.
Different federal government, so every second Wednesday. (Used to be Fridays, but they changed it a couple of decades ago to reduce the number of times a year that they had to issue the cheques a day early due to a bank holiday.) Direct deposit for everyone - you won’t even get hired these days without a bank account for the direct deposit to go to.
