Today is Wed. Feb. 28 and last night the president came on tv and was saying something that I would assume was important, because almost every channel was interrupted. What I want to know is what did he say that was so improtant? I know I should have watched last night, but I decided to go and do some studying for a financial accounting test I have today and eventually pass out on the floor. I woke up this morning and couldn’t watch the news to find out what he said because I woke up a short time before my class had to start. So what I am aksing is a brief summary of what the president said last night.

Just a little correction – you forgot the quotation marks when you referred to the “president.” His title is “President” George Bush. When speaking the words, of course, please remember to use the two-finger quotation-mark gesture.
