I’ve only heard sketchy rumors and tabloid reports, but was wondering if anyone had the real story about what was found in Paul Reubens’ house during a raid by the feds. Some say porn, some say kiddie porn. Was that what the feds were after? Or did they stumble upon this while searching for other contraband?

While there are rumors of kiddie porn or other illegal kinds of erotica, a spokesman for Mr. Rubens has claimed that it was an extortion attempt gone awry; someone threatened to report him to the police for his collection unless they were paid off.
I guess we’ll see what the outcome is. In any event, I bet Pee-wee’s seen the last of his collection, what the police hauled off won’t be returned to him even if he’s totally innocent. I also bet the next LAPD stag party will be very interesting.
