Currently, from Luna’s rearview mirror is a now-defunct air freshner with Happy Bunny on it that reads “You Smell Like Fart” and a string of dark scarlette Mardi Gras beads my mother gave me. On the dash sits my stuffed tatertot (don’t ask) Toddy, who grins up at me. On the antenna is a American Flag Mickey ball and on the rear window is a stick-on plastic American flag.
I decorate my car with bumper stickers that clearly reveal the depth of my passion for sports teams, political parties and religion. It’s mandatory to let everyone know just how important my beliefs are.
Oooh I bet that’s pretty DeVena.
At times…my car is also decorated with old plastic water bottles, straws and various fast-food garbage that I bring home from work. Well…I bring home FOOD from work or drinks and the garbage always gets left in my car.
I have: a rosary, a medal of St. Jude, and a Reservoir Dogs air freshener hanging from the rearview, a hula girl (she used to be on a spring, but the glue melted on a hot day) on the dash, and some random funny bumper stickers. Also - a trunk full of random crap (mariachi garden gnome, clip lights, wiper fluid, etc.)
Dashboard - a small plush zebra and a plastic Komodo dragon. Both usually end up on the passenger seat from zipping along when I take a sharp corner.
Rear window - “SCA” sticker and a “I (Heart) (Triskele) - Kingdom of Trimaris” bumper sticker.
Driver’s side side/back window - Jeff Gordon “24” sticker
Passenger’s side side/back window - Dale Earnhart “3” sticker [equal time for (former)Roommate]
The only thing that I have that even remotely qualifies would be the angel someone gave me for Christmas that reads “Don’t fly faster than your gaurdian angel can fly.”
I have a see-through plastic cling-on Spiderman on the right rear window (which actually looks quite classy), and that is all. I’m not much of a car decorator. I haven’t even stuck my CAA (that’s the same as AAA for all you Murkins) sticker on. I did used to have a small plastic t-rex with a long white mohawk for a long time. Lost him somewhere along the way.
When I had Bucky the buick, I took a pink gelly pen and wrote all kinds of cute stuff like “Girl Power”, etc and drew little flowers on the steering wheel and part of the dashboard. I had to wash it off pre-sell so we could get a good value for it.
Loads of stuffed animals on the dashboard, Mardi Gras beads on the rearview mirror, a lei on the passenger seat, and a purple fuzzy steering wheel cover. Very girly.
