If the picture was taken any time after 3rd period, there was almost certainly a good reason for that.
Actually, it wasn’t me who loved purple, but my boyfriend (seen in the purple suede pic). You see, he was a real douche (16-year-old me didn’t “get it” at the time) and he was supposed to be my date to my senior homecoming dance and prom, so I bought purple dresses for each. However, at the last minute before each dance, he dumped me, so I went with other people. He was such a scumbag, but I was in looove :rolleyes:

June 1995: I’m the one in the sweater (not sure why I was wearing a sweater in June).
Running cross-country, November, 1994: I’m in maroon. Of course, since I wear sweaters in June, I wear shorts and a tank top in November. This is a picture of a picture, so it’s not real high quality.
That girl looks just like someone I went to HS with, only in 1995 we were 21.

We didn’t have cameras when I was in high school but I was incredibly handsome and I’m even more so now. Honestly.

This is the best I can find. It was at the start of what Americans would call the junior year of high school – though I wasn’t anywhere near school, since I was in Germany on my way to spend the year in England. (I was enrolled in the New South Wales Correspondence School at the time.)
Yes, those were the days! Someone showed me photos from her niece’s prom this year and I wept at the lack of such sartorial exuberance among the males.
Man, I was such a complete geek in HS, I don’t think I even want to look at that picture again, not to mention scanning and posting it! Can’t understand why my mom didn’t make any effort to have me get a decent haircut or glasses…

Here’s my senior photo in the summer of 1996. This is just before I figured out what I could do with my curly hair.
Here’s me at prom in the spring of 1997 (I’m in the middle, duh). Not sure what is up with my eyes in the pic. I think my scanner is dirty.
No senior picture, but here’s me a couple years later. I was 20, and it was the early 80s but I was still sporting the Farrah Fawcett 'do.

11th grade: C-
12th grade: B
I don’t have too many photos of myself (or, heck, of anyone) from my youth, but luckily an old girlfriend posted our prom photo.
This thread is a hoot! I wish I had access to my old photos but they’re packed still. I was even beastlier than I am now.
