Ya, not just the Zebras, but the *Fighting *Zebras. Because, y’know, normal Zebras just run away and hope not to get slaughtered. 
I believe that we’re the only high school in the country with a Zebra as a mascot.

One of my senior portraits, '87 grad. Damn, what an awful perm. Braces came off six days before graduation. sigh
I like the Zebra and then the bar code beneath. Why is the second picture taken in what looks like a very cheap motel?
Because it was. I had my then boyfriend fly in for my graduation party and he took the picture as I was about to get ready to go.
I think that bar code was for getting lunches and checking out library books. Hard to remember since I never got school lunch. I definitely had that ID number memorized since we used it for everything, though.
