They had a limited-time Brown Sugar BLT recently, and I’m glad I knew up front that it wasn’t gonna stick around, cuz that thing was delishush.
Maybe they’ll bring it back …

I love their Greek Gyros
I adored the BellBeefers. There is a chain called Taco Casa which has basically the same thing. They just don’t have as many stores as Taco Bell
Yep, the gravy was the best part.
Not by me, but I will vote for the BBQ Ribs from KFC. They have been gone for quite some time.
I have not had “the Real Thing”, but I have had the frozen ones and they are quite decent.
There seems to be a few Long John Silvers still around.
We have both Long John Silvers and Captain D’s in my area. LJS seems to be scaling back
LJS seems to be scaling back
Putting it mildly. Wikipedia says that there were 1132 LJS locations in the US in 2015; this article says that, as of the end of last year, they were down to 540.
LJS has changed ownership three times in the past 22 years; they were sold in 2022 to an investor group, led by a LJS franchisee.
Arround 1998, Wendy’s sold a chick Caesar wrap that was quite delicious but discontinued it a few years later. I wish they’d bring it back.
I work across the street from a LJS. “Struggling” is putting it mildly, at least for that particular location.
They’ve had a “NOW HIRING” on their marquee for so long (at least two years) that the leg fell off the “R” a while ago, making it “NOW HIPING”.
… and they semi-recently added “MANAGERS ALL SHIFTS” underneath.
Good luck with that.
Worse, their lines are atrocious. The windows on our pizza joint face them, so we can see - and gossip about - how long it takes X car to creep through.
One of my coworkers saw their long-ass line & was like, “They hoppin’ tonight!” and I was like, “No, they’re moving slowly and probably don’t have anyone ‘really’ in charge.”
I … was not emotionally prepared for this development!
But I rolled with the news & got … the most disappointing “chocolate” shake I’ve ever slurped into my mouth-hole.
The last time I picked up McDs, I thought I’d try the chocolate shake again just to be sure. Yea, still disappointed. So this time I added 3 heaping tablespoons of malt powder and stirred it up. Much better. I’ve always like malts better than shakes.

Man, I got enough crap cluttering up my glove box. That’s some next-level preparedness.
I really liked McDonald’s “Breakfast Burrito”.
Oh, I just remembered. Chili’s had a drink called, “The Mandarin Blush”. I really liked it! They discontinued it, and then I even contacted corporate to ask for the recipe. No dice!
No, no! I went through the drive-thru and brought it home. That’s where I did my shake to malt preparation.

How was the dressing? To me caesar has to have some “bite” to it.
Testing memories here- Taco Bell used to have this thing- cheap- what was linda like a cheese roll up but with some sort of Chile sauce. Name?

I’m not a food critic and I’m ill prepared to give a good description of how it tasted. Plus it’s been almost 25 years since I had one. I just remember they tasted pretty good for a fast food selection.

That sounds like their chili cheese burrito.

If not the Chili cheese burrito, maybe the Enchirito? If so, they bring them back every once in a while, and at some places, some TB employees will make one for you if you ask.

No, not that big. It was about the size of a cheese roll up, and pretty cheap.
