usually just some Gulden’s, but sometimes I’ll add a little pickle relish. Heinz used to put out a pickle relish that already had yellow mustard mixed in. Sometimes, if I’m feeling particularly “piggy”, I’ll put saurkraut on as well
Ketchup, yellow mustard, and sweet relish. A Bratwurst is the same, with the addition of cheddar cheese (which must be placed directly on the hot sausage in order to melt properly.
Only good quality mustard and a smidgen of saurkraut.

Plochman’s Stone Ground, onions, cheddar, and chili if eaten while watching Monday Night Football. Otherwise, mustard, onions and maybe a little relish or kraut, sometimes a sport pepper or three. No ketchup. Ever.
Hot dog:
Ketchup
pickles (not relish, Valassic zesty dill slices are the best)
onions (both grilled and raw, they compliment each other wonderfully)
Chili dog:
Chili
mustard
onions
Brown mustard – just a dab (even the best hot dogs can be ruined by too much mustard)`.
Anything else is pointless. It just drops off anyway.
My favorite dogs are Best’s Kosher and the ONLY way to eat them is with Kraut, onions, mustard, and Peppracini slices.
For me it’s ketchup, mustard, chili (no beans), and sometimes cheese.
Sauerkraut - Gah! scraped from Satan’s colon it is!
