What do I do with this bear??

Okay, so this might belong in IMHO…

I received an extremely large teddy bear as a gift. It’s adorable, but it’s HUGE! I don’t know what to do with it! Currently he’s residing in an easy chair in our living room, but it will only be a short matter of time before he has to be moved for company. My room is too small; EVERY room is too small. grumble I need help on figuring this out.

Sorry…I didn’t get to put email notification in my options. Just ignore this…

grin …use him as a chair when company comes!

You can put it on your bed! It the bear is that big you should be able to sleep on it.

Hang him from the ceiling. Or shove him in a corner. Or leave him on your bed during the day and toss him off at night.

Well, I dunno about that. I’m weird about sleeping with stuffed animals. Sure, they can share my bed, but I don’t like touching them. I guess I’m just selfish and like having the bed to myself, and not have some big oafish bear sharing it!

Your a sick, sick person.

My friend got a giant yellow duck for Christmas a few years ago. Emma is huge, and sounds about the same size as your bear.

Emma lives in a chair, and is placed on the floor when the chair needed by non-duck sitters.

I got a full size Eeyore doll for Christmas this year. The thing’s huge. I plan on sleeping with it every night.

Do you have any of those little kid chairs? I kept my big stuffed animals sitting in my mini-rocking chair from when I was a little kid.

Or, keep him sitting in the corner of your room, and drape your laundry over his head. Even laundry likes the company of a cute, affectionate teddy bear.

Keep him on your bed, and use him like a pillow when you are reading or lounging. Then, kick him out of bed when you are ready to go to sleep (also a good preparation for married life).

Just do not keep him in your closet, elsewise you will come home some night, forget he is in the closet, open your closet, and promptly scream bloody murder, thus incurring the wrath of the other people in your household.

He sounds adorable! If you really, really, really don’t have room to keep him, you could always bring him to a children’s hospital.

Send him to live on my daughters top bunk. She has one up there already, with about 2 dozen other bears.

Delphica…how graphic.

Oh you could send him to live with my bears. Maxim is pretty big (nowhere nere huge) but if you sent your bear here, he’d realize he’s not the biggest thing in the world.

So what is your bear’s name…hmmm?

I didn’t name him (or his little bear friend attached to his one arm) yet. Any suggestions?

I would give him away but the person who gave it to me would probably be hurt.

Sounds sweet.
Maybe it can be hung from a wallhook to save floorspace when not in use?

GRRR! I hate you! Well, not really but I’m jealous, I really want the $100 Eeyore, that is my dream animal, he’s so incredibly adorable. If I don’t get him then when and if I get married that will be a required gify from my fiance, we can get married in vagas for all I care but I want my Eeyore! Hmmm, maybe if I convinced all my friends to get together…

Well back to the OP I suggest keeping him on your bed and putting him on the floor or a chair at night.
