I’m running Mozilla 1.6 on a WIN98 platform and trying to view an animation at the following URL: http://www.chubbysims.com/csMovie (it’s supposed to be a Laurel and Hardy animation).
Problem. Every time I go to that page, I don’t get the animation, but a blank rectangle with the puzzle-piece icon in the middle with the “click here to get the plugin” message. I’ve “clicked here” and downloaded (and installed) the plugin and it still doesn’t show the animation, but the “click here to get the plugin” message.
Does someone recognize this condition and can tell me what setting to change (or whatever) so I can see the friggin’ animation?
If I’ve left out some important information that you need to give me a sensible answer please prompt me and I will do my best to provide the information.

P.S.: If anyone can actually see the animation, am I missing much?
Damn…I read your post twice and didn’t notice that you ‘clicked’ and downloaded it. I just helped someone else with a similar problem and they never clicked the puzzle piece to get the download. My apologies.
Mozilla and Win 98 have a few issues together. You might be experiencing one, where a movie tries to play in the browser, which is a very Microsfot IE/Media Player kinda thing - for lack of better words.
Try opening this link to see if the movie runs. A direct link to the animated movie:
