What do people think of the TV show Louie

About comedian Louis CK. From what I remember of season 1, it was interesting and funny. But season 2 hasn’t really been funny at all, but it has still been interesting enough to watch. The episode about Eddie Mack was extremely good, despite not being funny.

I wouldn’t call it a drama or a comedy, and I really don’t know what they are going for anymore. It is still worth watching though. I think a big part of that is that I am a Louie CK fan. But I really don’t get it anymore. The country drive episode built up to nothing, neither did the Subway one.

It is drop dead hilarious.

I guess I don’t totally understand the “point” of the show…but I think it is hilarious and very poignant when needed.

I love it. Every episode makes me laugh because I appreciate the dark humor.

There’s been a thread or two already with people weighing in on the show. I’m definitely watching it and liking it.

It’s often not particularly humorous, but poignant or at least a very down-to-earth expression of an aspect of the human condition.

I like the risks that he takes with the storytelling. For instance, to my mind, the country drive story really only is a whole piece when you include the outtakes/behind the scenes footage at the end with the actress playing Louie’s aunt. Very unusual, but, to me, satisfying.

It is unlike anything on TV right now and I love it!

I also love the show. Ditto everything Orr, G said, but I agree the first season was more funny and less contemplative.
