We found a snail in my backyard yesterday, and my son decided he wants to keep it as a pet. He put it in a plastic cup and covered it with saran wrap with some small air holes. But if we have any intention of keeping it alive, what should we throw in there for it to eat? Leaves? Grass? Dirt? Does it need a damp environment? Will it drown if there’s too much water?
