What do they have on Scott Peterson?

I know there is a lot in the press about the Laci /Scott Peterson murder investigation, I have seen what the press would indicate as being “suspicious” behavior on his part, but one thing that escapes me is what evedence do they have? Or is it the kind of thing that would only come out in court? I’m wondering because I read today where there are a couple of similar cases that have gone unsolved.

this one is very similar, and this one not so similar,

I am not advocating Scott Peterson’s innocence or guilt, I just wonder why the police are so darn sure.

What do you think?

The TV news blurb thirty seconds ago said something to the effect that “Investigators say Laci Peterson was killed in her home, either on Christmas Eve or the day before. Scott Peterson has pleaded not guilty…”
I would guess that the conclusive evidence was being held back from the media until the bodies were identified and Scott was formally charged. I think we’ll hear about it soon.

Ah, I see that now on CNN’s web site, it was not there when I posted the question, I guess that is it for this thread.
I also see where they said he had tidal charts on his computer and traces of concrete in his boat…Hmmmm.
This is very sad to say the least - in any case.
