I once dreamt that I woke up reluctantly, grumpily brushed my teeth, got dressed, went to school, and found myself in my underwear. Then I woke up for real, brushed my teeth, got dressed, went to school, and found myself in my underwear. Then I yelled at myself and woke up for real and brushed my teeth, got dressed, went to school, and found myself in my underwear.
Then I woke up. I think.
Is there a term for this other than “friggin’ A!”?

Back when I was in the Navy, it was common to have “boatmares.” A boatmare was a bad dream about being on the submarine.
The worst boatmares were the ones in which you woke up to find yourself on the boat…at sea…with someone waking you up for your watch…
