This is more IMHO, but figured it would get moved here eventually. Mods, move as needed.
Am curious what individual Dopers will post on Facebook the morning after the election (assuming it’s been called). If you have a buncha FB friends of different political bents, are you going to rub it in if your guy wins?
In gratitude for the political ads finally being off the air, I’ll spend the day off the webs and away from TVs. Maybe get up early, go to a coffee joint and take a book along.
But I’m not judgin’-- I’d love to hear others’ pithy FB posts.
Nothing. My FB is already inundated with political posts and updates, which I detest. Plus, as I’ve learned in the past, it’s best just to keep my political views to myself.
Most of my friends don’t mention politics, so I don’t see any reason to say anything to them. If Romney were to win, I’ll probably commiserate with the few liberals that have come out from hiding, but that’s about it.
Politics shouldn’t be like a team sport. I hate that this one kid who had to pretend to be neutral after clearly liking a liberal political ad, due to all the people saying he was being disrespectful to his team.
The most I can see saying is something about how happy I am that we can stop being so divided.
