Has anyone seen this yet? Create your own Cyber Twin online, and it will have conversations with other twins out there, send them messages, create it’s own life, all based on the information you put into the profile. You can create a dark twin, or a nice twin, or a completely new personality. It learns and converses with other twins out there. Kinda cool no? The best part about it is you don’t even have to be logged in for your twin to talk with others out there. Based on the fairly lengthy questionaires it comes up with it’s own personality and emulates from that it’s own persona.
It seems like an interesting idea, but after having chatted with a couple of the people, I’m not impressed. It seems like any other chat-bot site. It could be that I haven’t chatted with the cybertwins that have information inputted about them though. Do you have a cybertwin that we could talk to?
I tried it. It’s silly. Interesting for a while, but they ask you a ton of questions and it’s so random. I did a test conversation with the first profile I saw and it was just like artificial intelligence sites I’ve seen before. If you said ‘the right thing’ a question’d pop up that the other person wanted asked. For example, “Have you ever been to Greece? Do you drink coffee late at night?” It just smacks of a quirky dating website.
