I don’t know… I live up here in canada and there’s not a whole hell of a lot of people who are black etc… there’s a lot of aboriginals… philipinos… people from india… and a few african americans… but when I’m watching the tv I find it offensive that they like to throw in the token minority person in there. Especially them reality shows where the whole cast is white except for 1 black person so they don’t seem racist. And then there’s the commercials which do the same thing… a company doesn’t want to seem racist so they have somebody of color in there… I think it’s bad. And I’m absolutely not a racist… it’s illogical to dislike someone for how they’re born… there’s nothing they can do about it. And I’ve been temping it this week at some tarp factory where I was a minority and I get along with them… although it’s kinda hard to understand their accents when they’re talking in english. But yeah… I don’t know… I was in a bank today and noticed some poster and the guy’s black and it’s like… I’ve had enough of the media… I think I’m gonna shut down the tv and just work on tunes again like I did in the mid 90’s… didn’t have the tv thing going on and off for many years… even just recently… mine burnt out and went a few months without one. But even if I did… I’d step into a bank and would still get that stuff in my face.
