VOTE HERE (Scoring ends Thursday, November 13th)

(Sorry about the short window — due to some crossed wires in the SDMB approval process, I am posting this with just 1 day to spare).

I’ve entered Threadless’ Captain America contest. It’s my first stab at a contest and so I don’t have much of a following over there, but Threadless recommends its entrants gets word out on their social networks so that their design gets scored high enough to prevent being dropped from consideration.

Although I would of course like to move up in position, the fact of the matter is that there are lots of cool designs that deserve to make the cut, so don’t be shy about scoring other deserving designs high as well. Also, there’s no way for me to know if you scored / or what you score.

If my design makes the cut, it will be available for sale and I’ll make a (presumably minor) percentage on the sale. (The winner actually gets $2000, but I’m not holding my breath for that to happen).

The bad news: Scoring requires a Threadless membership
The good news: The membership is free and allows you to weigh in on a ton of uber-cool designs across all their design categories.

You know, I’m gonna vote for you just because you’ve been such a good sport about this whole thing, plus it is actually a cool design. Not to tear others down unnecessarily (which is how you preface an unnecessary tearing down), but some of those other designs were pretty terrible.

Thanks NiceOldLady! I’ll take a vote for whatever reason someone wants to give. I do agree with there being a lot of crap. But to be fair, there’s also a fair number of pretty cool designs too. I’m sure I’ll regret voting them up if they end up nudging me out of the finalists spot. :wink:
