What Do You Think of This Video (Father and Daughter Sing "Home").

Didn’t like it. Thought it was cheesy. I looked up the original version of the song and didn’t like that much better either, though.

I liked it quite a lot. The little girl was adorable, and they both seemed to be really enjoying themselves.

Having now read through the posts here, I’m surprised at the reactions to the girl’s voice. She’s 3 or 4, and she sings like a 3 or 4 year old. There’s nothing at all wrong with her voice.

Perhaps I’m very lucky in that I don’t see that as remarkable in any way. To me, that’s “normal”; that’s how dads are supposed to be with their children. The only thing slightly not-ordinary for this particular family is that the dad is a pretty ok amateur musician and they put their home videos on YouTube.

I agree with all of the above posters. It’s just an adorable little girl singing with her daddy. It makes me happy.

If they were promoting this, trying to make a platinum record or something, I’d say “Boo, thumbs down,” but they’re not. They’re just having fun.

Meh. Cute, touching, and I don’t care.

Yes. At around 1:02, the Dad turns to her and smiles, and she smiles back.

It’s a family moment they felt like sharing. Why should I judge it?

I think the guy is pretty good at playing the guitar upside down (as he’s left-handed, obviously).

I loved it, but I’m a sucker for this kind of thing anyway. That she kept singing through the yawn was pretty cute.

No, there’s nothing wrong at all. She sings like a 3 or 4 year old. Which is why I turned it off after 30 seconds. Like I said, nice moment, nice parent-child dynamic, but I just don’t really care.

you forgot the F*%$#ing Adorable option.
no shes not super talented but whatever, its cute as hell.

I like the dad’s voice, and kept it on while it while reading this thread. I also wanted to point out that that’s the type of whistling I was talking about in the whistling thread. I want to learn how to do that, as you can get much higher that way.

I’m sorry, I appear to have melted into a puddle of awwww

You’ll have to wait for a comment until I’ve reconstituted.
