Lately, Norah Jones’ “Don’t know why” and Bobby Darin’s “Beyond the Sea” have been whistle worthy for me.
I always whistle at work when I am in a good mood. How about you dopers? What is on your whistling play list?
Not so much at work (I don’t think it’d go over well at the insurance co.) but on the street. The most common ones for me are Bizet’s Toreadors; the 1812 Overture; the Connie Francis version of ‘Quando Quando Quando’; and the Nat King Cole version of ‘Quizas Quizas Quizas,’ which I’ve been unable to get out of my head after first seeing In the Mood for Love years and years ago. Also, stupidly, the theme song to the old Nickelodeon kids’ show “Salute Your Shorts” from years back is a constant earworm that comes out in whistling.
I keep getting really stupid songs stuck in my head, just out of the blue. Like the other day it was “Memories” from Cats (wtf?? I’ve never even seen Cats!)
But a lot of times I get songs stuck in my head based on thread titles I see here. There’s some thread in CS with the title “Pirates, guns and money” and I’ve had Warren Zevon’s “Lawyers, Guns and Money” stuck in my head for 2 days now 
I like to whistle “The Girl From Ipanema” because I have to hear the chord changes properly in my head to stay in the right key. It’s hard!
