Last name: A little obscure since there are a number of spelling possibilties, but the two frontrunners are “sun” and “swampy lowland.” Guess which one I’d prefer.

Heh. I have an Archbishop of Canturbury in my background. Of course, the direct line leads to his cousin who shared his name. That one, who immigrated to America in the late-1600s, was admonished for chaining his wife to the bedpost. But after him there were a lot of preachers.

The meanings might not go well together, but they sound good. 
Don’t you love the Teutonic and Norse names? They usually involve spears or shields or battles. My first name is actually a combination of two names. Part of it would be brave or hard spear. Hard spear would be a great line if I were a guy. Hey baby, my name means “hard spear”. waggles eyebrows … I guess it’s a good thing I’m not a guy, I’d never get any.
