What does a banned poster see when they try to post?

I assume that if I fly right I’ll never see it. But I’m curious, what do they get as a screen?

Is it a nasty message?

What if they’re logged in at the same moment an administrator comes along and removes their privileges?

Do they get bounced off the board, or do they run into the same thing I do when I mess up typing in my password, ie. the same simple screen asking me for my password?

What functions aren’t available to them?

Like I said, if my past is any indication of my future, I’ll never see it. But you never know.

If that unfortunate day should ever occur, what should I expect to see?

There’s a one or two line vBulletin Message page that comes up when you try to post with something not right. If I try to post without having entered my password, I get the message:

I had an alternate personality back when they were legal, and I rolled 'im over to Tuba and I’m fine and clear with that (poor f***er got vaporized and I walked). But, to research you question, I attempted a test preview using that old (beaten) persona, and got the vBulletin Message page with the message:

So that’s what you see at the edge of the universe.
