Once in a while, I see posts that just say “OG SMASH”. I would love to be able to do a search for the thread that originated this, but the Board’s 4-letter-word limit keeps me from searching for “Og”.
My question is: how did this originate? I would be incredibly impressed if anyone could come up with a link to the original thread where it started, but I don’t expect that to happen.

I don’t know why I put that in there, it’s late and I’m not thinking.
Hopefully someone else will come along with a better explanation. Someone was ranting, and throughout the post, instead of typing “of”, typed “og”. This sounds like a name for a Neanderthal, thus “Og Smash” came to be. It is also a nod to our dear beloved “Smashie” smilie from the temp board.
Simpsons quotes are good. They’re the only thing stopping me from taking all the base that belong to you.
Og Smash is Og. The smashie dude. You know. He…well…he smashes and stuff. Because that’s what he does. Don’t hate him because he’s beautiful.
