In SDMB speak, what does WAG mean? I have no idea.
Wild A** Guess is the usual translation.
Oh! I thought it meant “We Are Gods”…

There is also the SWAG, which is a “Scientific Wild Ass Guess”, but you have to have a PHD to venture one.

This question has been asked and answered numerous times and although you can’t run a search on WAG (because three letter words are too short), you can run a search on “acronyms” or “abbreviations” to find lots of similar threads.
I wonder if running such a broad search creates a larger server load than starting a new topic.
I also wonder how much server load would be reduced if members would no longer create “holier than thou” posts like everton’s and leave the moderator’s job to those who are assigned to do it.
