Jeez Chronos! :smiley:

The first note came from Sufia, my best friend, who is a fabulously good looking woman. The plan was that she would just cruise by on those long legs of hers and smile and wave and say “congrats”, but you weren’t there. :frowning:

So she left a note. :wink:

The next note is from Trish, who is in Student Activities, a full-time employee of the school, a current student, and an old friend. I worked as Business Mgr. for the six campus entertainment committees while I was there, I still know a few of the office people in the SUB.

Both of these friends know of the SD, one is a posting member, although not too active during this semester.

Another girlfriend of mine, who is also a physics nut like you, tells me of your overwhelming social charms and sparkling conversation. I thought you might like the ummmm, diversion and a bit of mystery in your life.

Aha, I suppose that would explain the :smiley: in your previous post, too, aenea. Why must I always be away from my desk when fabulously good-looking women with long legs want to congratulate me? Well, OK, this is the first time anything like that has ever happened to me, so maybe it’s too early to say “always”, but…
Thanks for the thought, at least, aenea. If nothing else, you’re certainly right, it did make things interesting for a few days there :wink:

Oh, by the way, the fourth conspirator you mentioned… The physics nut. Is she by chance a new transfer student this year? I think I might know who she is. Alas, she’s in a class I’m grading, so for this semester, at least, I won’t be able to be much more than a sparkling conversationalist. :frowning:

Nope, said physics buff (4th conspiritor) is not a new transfer student.

She is a physics undergrad at this time, and does know who you are. :eek: She has definately entertained me with stories of your witty conversation. :wink:

Ok, I can still think of at least two possibilities… Care to give me a hint? And would she know who I’m talking about if I refer to you as “aenea”?
And no, it hasn’t bothered me, except in the same sense that a challenging puzzle bothers me when I can’t solve it. I make it a policy not to object when conspiracies of beautiful women try to brighten my day;)
