To faithfool and qwest – Hope you enjoy your forties as much as I did! Wonderful time! Happy birthday!
Trivia: For those of you born in February of 1957, there was a full moon on Valentine’s Day that year. (sigh…) Okay. I was thirteen.
Make that the 1990s. They turn 18 this year. Damn.
The book Generations says that we were the first of the Boomers. Some of us were and some of us weren’t. That made for very strange 10th year class reunions in 1971.
1943
(That number used to look so in-your-face. Now it looks peculiar – like it might not be in the same font as other birth years…kind of like silent movie sub-titles.)
Another 1986 here. Ah, young enough to have functionally missed the horror of the 80’s, old enough have lived through the 90’s. Plus, we’ve got something in common with the worst nuclear power disaster in human history!
Another child of 1973 checking in! The year the Sydney Opera House opened, the year of Watergate, the year of Roe v. Wade, the year the US signed the Paris Peace Accord (ending its involvement in the Vietnam War) … it was a busy year!
