What Effect Will Trump's Concentration Camps have on his reelection campaign?

I lived in Chile for two years, and I’m familiar with the issue (it’s similar throughout much of South America, not just the Caribbean). Their sewer system didn’t handle toilet paper well, which led to the waste basket disposal method, which is the reason we make signs here that instruct foreign visitors that they should “Put used toilet paper in the toilet.” which all just gets back to my point that the “drink from the toilet thing” might well have been a misunderstanding by a foreigner unfamiliar with how our plumbing and restroom facilities operate.

And you were told why your explanation doesn’t hold water(sorry about that one, folks). The only water available was in the toilet. Nothing came out of the only faucet available when it was turned on.

So, immigrants should come to America with foreknowledge of what the toilet facilities are like in American PRISONS?

While you were in South America how many toilets did YOU see with built in water fountains?

CMC fnord!

I’m no more confident in Ayanna Pressley’s ability to operate a faucet than I am in AOC’s ability to truthfully report on the situation.

Then who would you believe, if not the people that actually were there?

Well, if they’re going to cross the border illegally then yes, I suppose it would be a useful bit of knowledge, but, to your broader point, I’m not arguing that foreigners are bad people for not knowing how our plumbing works. I don’t expect them to have encyclopedic knowledge of American culture when they arrive, but I do see how this deficit might cause confusion and misunderstandings, which I have no doubt AOC would blow wildly out of proportion.

How about some Border Patrol agents. They were there too. Any of them report hearing a colleague telling women to drink out of the toilet bowl?

Or report honestly what she’d seen, heard, and experienced.

Border Patrol Agents…aren’t they the folks circulating memes of AOC with her head in the president’s foul lap?

It’s certainly a possibility that one of them did. I don’t think the identity / employer of the person who posted that particular image has been confirmed, has it?

You got caught saying something reprehensible, so you double down and declare “Fake news!”.

Try some better role models, okay?

Which thing that I said did you find “reprehensible”?

That’s who you would believe?

Let’s be generous and just say “this thread”. I’ve read it even if you haven’t.

Yes, and I’ll note that that same feeling you get when I suggest we believe the Border Patrol agents that were present is how I feel when people suggest I take AOC’s word for something just because she tweeted it and they know in their hearts that it must be true.

That’s the same ElvisL1ves lack of specifics I’ve come to know and … well … know.

Guys, when are we going to wise up and understand that…

HD pulling stuff completely out of his ass

Some libtard who reports something that they saw in person

You should have put more time between this particular piece of snark and your argument that eyewitness evidence should be ignored because you “know in your heart that it must be false”.

The sooner the better

I think that “hearsay” is probably a better descriptor for the evidence that we’ve been presented rather than “eyewitness”. AOC didn’t claim to see anyone drinking out of the toilet. She didn’t claim to have heard the CBP officer tell the women to do it. She says someone told her about it after the fact, or at least told someone in her delegation, I’m still a bit fuzzy on if she actually entered the facility or not. I see a lot of her retweeting or posting photos taken by others and saying “we saw” rather than more unambiguously-first-person accounts.
