What flag was this?

I walked by a car yesterday and it had a front license plate that had a flag design on it (In MS, one isn’t required to have a registered tag on both ends of the car). I looked through Wikipedia’s galleries of flags, but came up empty.

The flag was St. George’s cross, and up in the top left, there were stars, which I’m pretty sure were white in a blue background. The closest I could find was some kind of New Zealand flag, but there were more than 5 stars.

Anyone have any idea what this flag represents?

I used the Flag Detective, and, based on your description, I’d suggest it’s the flag of the Episcopal Churches, in its George’s cross variant.
