Alpo doesn’t really get that much better when you heat it up.
Take the cheapest, fishiest tuna in water, drain it a bit, and add soy sauce. Bliss, I tell you!

Pineapple chunks, some reason they just taste better fridge cold and still in the can.
sardines canned in mustard, with Triscuits, and Bush’s Bakes Beans straight from the can.
Corned beef hash straight out of the can got me through college. I’ll still occasionally indulge. Of course, I have a stove now, so i can have warm hash.
Canned fruit is best served in the can, with a fork.

Directly from the can? beetroot and creamed rice. Think I would empty everything else out before I ate it.
Fruit cocktail. Campbell’s Chunky Soup (any variety).
Totally on board with this. Cold canned pineapple (the packed in juice kind) is delightful.
Also good: the same pineapple, ambient air temperature, on a dive boat, shortly after surfacing.
