What foods do you eat straight out of the can?

This post was inspired by, well… this. But then I got to think’in. I’ve eaten this right outta the can. How’z about you?

Tomato paste; I occasionally like it as a snack. Tuna, occasionally.

Think’in and howz and outta? Spaghetti ohs over the sink with a plastic fork.

Sardines and kippers. Tuna and other fish, I might eat straight from the can but I have to add a dollop of hot sauce or mayo first.

That’s “How’z” Darth Nader

Really just fruit. Pineapple, peaches, mandarin oranges…

Peaches straight out of the can. And all that yummy syrup. Thanks for the memory zoid.

Didn’t we just have a thread about this?

Do you mean physically eating out of the can? i.e. not transferring the contents to some other receptacle? I couldn’t say I’ve ever eaten anything straight out of a can, perhaps all these years I’ve been missing out on a fantastic experience…

Tuna.

I don’t think there’s anything that comes in a can, that I haven’t at some time eaten right out of the can.

My favorite is clam chowder, both New England and Manhattan.

The only think I can think of is that premixed tuna salad, and that’s only when I’ve eaten all the crackers.

Otherwise, it goes on a plate or bowl.

Just about everything. I often eat canned pasta and soup cold from the can. Sardines. Fruit. Tuna. No vegetables though.

ETA. Yeah…I thought this topic seemed familiar. At least I pretty much gave the same answer

Ha. I thought this question looked familiar. I started that other thread.

Peanut butter comes in a jar, rather than a can. But I eat it straight out of the jar. Does that count?

Pringles.

Well, they call it a can.

Same here. Chef Boyardee and Franco-American products are actually better cold and straight from the can.

Heinz Baked Beans, tuna or sardines - but only when desperately hungry and alone.

Fruit - a little more often.

Damn, I thought I was the only one. I only indulge by taking tastes when cooking with it, but I could eat a whole can.
