What Foods Does Your SO Not Like?

Blue cheese
Licorice

For some reason, both foods are pretty widely hated. I’ve never understood why.

Love blue cheese, love licorice.

But bluecheeselicorice would be nasty.

Lima beans and Brussel sprouts. Otherwise, he eats pretty much anything.

What Foods Does Your SO Not Like?

Where do I begin.

Love means always having to say you’re sorry?

Walnuts - due to being given a bad one by his blind uncle when he was a child.

Watermelon - no idea why. I think he’s insane!

Mostly, he’ll eat whatever I cook, and I’ve learned to like some things that he likes and I didn’t (like Brussels sprouts.)

Pork chops - in any form or cooked in any manner. He’d eat a pork roast if cooked in a certain way, but no chops.

Tabasco, onions, peppers (any color) - this about did in our marriage. I can’t imagine cooking with onions, garlic, and peppers. But I learned.

Sausage, bacon, lunch meat - any type of processed meat.

Fish - any kind. He’d eat shrimp, but nothing else.

If he was home, he’d do most of the cooking. I could never remember the long list of things he disliked.

**Rhiannon8404 **does not eat mushrooms or blue cheese.

She also doesn’t eat avocado, despite really trying to like it (we had a discussion on this topic just a couple days ago).

Beans (except soy in the form of tofu/shoyu/etc). Milk products. Cruciferous veggies, except for cabbage. Many others that make me equally sad about not eating regularly.

He doesn’t like sauces or dressings of any kind. No mayo or mustard or aioli on sandwiches. He’s the only person I’ve ever met who eats salad with just a drizzle of olive oil, no lemon or vinegar or anything to give it (what I would perceive as) flavor.

My first husband was like that, except he liked ketchup on fries or potato chips sometimes.

Otherwise, no dips, no condiments, no dressings.
