DIRTY, CHEAP SEX
No holds barred sex talk and discussion belongs in this forum.
I want a “CURRENT EVENTS” forum. When something happens, it’s a toss-up where the first few posts are going to land, and parallel conversations get going with some of the best points made over several threads instead of all in one.
How about an anonymous forum where we can shed our usernames, which in my case my wife, kids, and friends all know, and really talk about what we think?
I’d split “GQ” into “GQ” and “MPQIMA” (Mundane Pointless Questions I Must Ask). This is where those threads like “Why do buggers turn green?” and “What makes farts smell?” would belong.
THE HALL OF SHAME: Put the threads here that feature a poster demonstrating how one should not behave on the SDMB. To help the guilty parties save face, all the threads in here would be deleted six months after their arrival.
At a dopefest earlier this year, a suggestion was made (by Sealemon if I recall correctly) that we need a Social Announcements forum for items such as post parties, dopefest plans, and personal announcements like births, engagements, and marriages.
I’d also like to see a *Frequently Asked Questions forum. Hopefully newcomers would see that and check there before posting a repitition of a thread that’s already appered several times. This would also be a forum for the moderators to maintain a general set of guidelines for the board.
And I’m all in favor of Vinnie’s suggestion of a sex forum. Call it SDMB…After Dark.
