I get really frustrated when I see someone who thinks actions don’t have consequences . . . that rules don’t apply to them . . . someone that only tries talking to us about a problem when they’ve made such a hash of things that the situation is unresolvable. (And then they blame everybody else.)
All these things are the hallmark of immaturity and the poster in question is only 19 years old. This is a rough way to learn about stuff, but I hope for his sake he can find the greater lesson contained in what went down here. If so, then all this wasn’t just an exercise in stupidity.

I know he said he’s been e-mailing you, TubaDiva, and claims that he’s the one that pointed out to you his Urge name was still active.
However, he blames you, and in turn all of us regular posters, for being banned, not his actions. (Remember, he wasn’t really serious about that cyber threat :rolleyes:, and claims that since he didn’t actually post under two names, he doesn’t see it as a violation of the rules - semantics, all, but he doesn’t see it that way.) He also claims that you said he was banned for “being a jerk.” Furthermore, he says if that’s the reason, then there are other people who are bigger jerks than him who haven’t been banned, so it’s obvious it’s just because we don’t like him. (I didn’t say it was true, I’m just telling you what he told me.) Does all this matter? No, but I thought you might want to know it anyway, as a mod.
Yes, 90% of what was thrown at him was flames, but he has neglected to read that precious 10% of rational posting that tried, in vain, to educate him about how to improve his style here so that he wouldn’t get flamed but could still be who he is (which seems to be awfully important to him).
