I post and read from two different iPads all the time and never get logged off. Search has always been problematic, but New Posts works fine.

When I recently updated safari on my iPads and went to iOS7 I didn’t lose any functionality and didn’t have to modify my browser settings, so I’m not sure that’s the problem.

Have you tried rebooting your iPad?

If all else fails, a factory reset may fix it. Just make sure all your data is backed up. (For most users, iTunes should be sufficient for that.)
