Episode 807, entitled “Goobacks,” made fun of Hispanics, but in a thinly veiled way.

Yeah I saw that ep. Didn’t find it offensive. If I am going to be offended I want something more outwardly offensive.
Personally, I think the show’s alarmingly pro-black.
Did they ever go after Scientology? I’ve never been a faithful viewer, but I’ve wondered hwo they could work that out with Isaac Hayes being so important to cast.
Nuns? I guess they’ve made fun of Catholics en masse a whole bunch of times, but always the priests – the nuns (or nun, singular) always come out pretty decently.

They somehow got Nancy Cartwright (Bart) to go along with the Movementarians episode, which parodied Scientology more than any other cult. (Red-haired “Leader”, Cheesy orientation film, SeaOrg uniforms, TR rundown, Trillion Year Contract, and of course, legions of lawyers.)
I’ll bet she had to report to Ethics after that one.

I don’t think this OP is in reference to the commercial, but a while back there was a Commedy Central/ SP spot that basically said
“What group will SP piss off next?” and it listed a bunch… “If we haven’t offended your group yet, we’re sorry… we are working as fast as we can.”

Aha, yes. I mention this due to the kids getting as into their characters as they do, although it’s not pencil and paper kind of stuff. They do make fun of the kids playing Harry Potter, though, which seems common to me among RPG players. (As in one D&D nerd making fun of someone for playing a different game.)
…I do not think so. I’ve skimmed it (as in skipping 15 sec chunks), and I didn’t see him. He shows up in the credits of that episode, though.
