One interesting aspect to this: If he weren’t such a blatant criminal and serial, impulsive liar — that is, if it were just a case of resume embellishment — the sad thing is, he might have had a compelling life story to tell without embellishing! (Maybe). The only real job we can verify he ever held was as a call-center customer assistant, for a year. That’s a good thing! Good customer assistants are hard to find, and could be a great training for serving one’s constituents!
Instead, sadly, he thought he’d be rejected if he didn’t have things like “Goldman Sachs” and “Citibank” on his resume. For this voter (me), those are turn-OFFS.
