You guys didn’t like the anime? I agree that some of it is incomprehensible if you are coming in from the middle rather than the beginning (Death Note,) and some of it is an acquired taste (Case Closed/Conan Itagawa, Ghost in the Shell) and some of it just sucks (Full Metal Alchemist,) and much of it is overshadowed by the Williams Street home run shows (Venture Brother, ATHF,) but really, there’s almost no way to watch it dubbed otherwise.
A few years ago, they had the best balance:
1 hour of 2 Family Guy episodes (good way to figure out which part of the cycle they were on)
30-60 minutes of the 11 minute shows (ATHF, Robot Chicken, etc.)
1 hour of 2 Anime shows, at that time, Inuyasha and Ghost in the Shell back to back,
30 minutes of some experimental show that was largely hit or miss
Nowadays, the only reason to watch AS is for Venture brothers, and the new episode only comes out on Sundays.
