What happened to "Caprica"?

What ever happened to RDM’s planned spinoff/prequel of Battlestar Galactica, Caprica? Didn’t he say they’d set up the backstory during season 3? And who are the Greystones? :confused:

Dunno if I like the Caprica concept. The BSG series is prolly gonna pretty much determine the fate of the human race in the Galaticaverse. Why should we care about a bunch of characters that aren’t really players in the main event?

From what I’ve read, the Greystones are the family who own the corporation responsible for creating the Cylons.

Caprica is supposed to be more of a soap opera whereas BSG is sci-fi.

Early word is that the direct-to-video movie will deal mainly with the Pegasus. How that will link to Caprica is as yet unknown.

But they already converted the Pegasus sets into Cylon Basestar sets. :confused: Are they unconverting them back?

They may have a separate budget for the movie…especially if it is the lead in to Caprica
