Does anybody know whatever happened to Caril Fugate , the adolescent girlfriend and accomplice of mass murderer Charles Starkweather? I know that she was paroled from prison 18 years after he was electrocuted, but I’m curious if she lived a normal life, married, went back to prison, or exactly whatever became of her. (If still alive she’d only be around 60.)
I don’t have a cite, but I remember learning in a movie (not “Badlands,” but a television movie the name of which I cannot recall) that she became a nurse’s aide.
