I had my car radio all set for 92.7 I think it was or 92.79 and could press it whenever there were commercials and promos on the classical music station or Howard Sterne or NPR, as it seldom had commercials and had this good dance music plus a period of when they went back to the old disco classics. Then I would find myself back in the wonderland of the steady beat, the great weird synthsizer effects, European classics like the one about the German omnibus, and the immortal 'AEIOU-
and Sometimes Y ay ayyyy," and the songs in general had very few words. I would stay listening to this until they did come up with some nitwit commercials and then press Mozart et. al.
Then one horrible day I turned on 92.7 and got one regular song after another in a foreign tongue and it wasn’t basically dance music. Does anybody know what happened to my station I tried to find it elsewhere but it must have gone out of business.

Or should I try to connect a computer to batteries and drag that with me so I can listen to whatever music I want, which I understand somebody told me you can get on the computer. Oh, I’m in the mood for some of the dramatically named last quartets of Beethoven, and now a little Cage and then, “I Will Survive.” ("At first I was afraid, I was petrified–kept thinkin…

To answer your question, being from Knoxville, TN, I have no idea what happened to the station. I’m sorry - I do feel your pain. It sucks to lose a fave radio station.
But… almost none of those songs (except “I will survive”) sound familiar. A playlist with Europop and American disco? How about a couple of songs/acts that got regular airplay? Thanks… Or should I say, Danke?
