Yes, it does sound odd… but honestly, what happened, happens, or is going to happen on May 33? I’ve had difficulties finding this date’s existence (on any calendar) and where it has been found, there’s been trouble converting to the calendar currently in popular use. The best lead I had was that it was “New Year’s Eve” on the Bonavian calendar in certain years; the numbers on this one just don’t add up.
It looks like somebody is trying to win the same contest.
