I have to mention Horseflesh again. He left my apartment here about 45 minutes ago, after spending almost six full hours doctoring my computer. Turns out I did have a virus infection, but my computer is clean now, and he installed programs to do battle with future viruses. His family came over for a while too, wife and kids, and I fed them all burgers and chocolate cake, but it seems a small price to pay. He can have lunch anytime in the cafe where I work!
I even said I’d babysit. After all, their just kids, how much trouble can they be?

I would like to thank Baker for inviting me to her house while Horseflesh worked on her computer. She was a very gracious host, feeding us a delicious dinner and putting up with the kids running around “playing” with her cats. We had a good time, but if she wants to babysit my two demon children, I have to draw the line there :D. They were being mild that night, Baker, you have no idea what you would be getting yourself into. Thanks for the offer though.

Esprix, I know I’ve mentioned this a few times, but I really did learn a tremendous amount from the Ask the Gay Guy threads. If I do now ardently defend the rights of homosexuals and vehemently argue that they are not any more inherently sinful than any other person, but are human beings just like everyone else who should be treated like any other person would be, it’s because of what you, GoBear, jayjay, Mr. Visible, Priam, Matt McL, Scott Evil, Andygirl, Lola, and people whose names have just leaked out of my brain and puddled on the floor have taught me. Thank you.

Mostly auntie em, who lets me keep my cats even though one of them keeps peeing on our papasan cushions. I have not doubt that she’ll use this against me in the future, but for right now it seems mighty nice of her.

Oh, and mad props to her marrying me this past summer. That was kind of her, too.

Also, I shout-out to zev_steinhardt, who recommended an excellent book for MSSQL programming. (Definitely not as poignant as my marriage thanks to auntie em, but I doubt that zev would have married me, anyhow, to earn such a thanks.)

Even though I have not had any contact with andy Dopers via email or in person I want to say thank you for helping me make it through every work day. (My job is ULTRA boring and I have an office with no windows. I do computer work and basically have no one to talk to all day at work… anywho…)
I love reading the threads and sometimes posting. Not only does it give me interesting stuff to talk about (current events and stuff) but also to get to see what diverse group of people have to say on such a variety of subject matter.
I love the fact that this board can make me laugh, cry, and every thing in between.
So I just want to say Thank you for all that you do.
