Come on, man - the war took over two thousand years to end. You’re expecting a rapid response to a post about it? Come back in fifty years, consider bumping it then.
And that sad part? At the ceremonial peace ceremony in 1994, Athens Mayor Nikos Papathemelis made a comment about Sparta Mayor Alekos Melissourgos’ wife and the whole war got started up again. Sometimes you should just leave well enough alone.
I really can’t comment on the OP’s war.
But looking over the Wikipedia article brought up a link to the shortest war on record: The Anglo-Zanzibar War. I’m amused that as part of the treaty ending the war, the Brits made the Zanzibarans pay for the cost of the shells the RN used.
