That’s a nasty thing to say about anybody. 
I see fairy chat mom as a middle aged woman sitting in a wooded glade, wearing a blue dress, aluminum foil wings and deelyboppers, and holding an aluminum foil magic wand, surrounded by school kids similarly attired, all talking animatedly.
Really a lot of imagery from a screen name, but there it is.
And when I refer to my wife as Mrs. Evil Captor, I see the sweet little old lady from the Sylvester and Tweety cartoons walking around in a dungeon saying, “Oh, dear, let me adjust your chains.”
Ginger of the North makes me think of a black and white etching of a Scandanavian kinda woman’s face with a pug nose and pigtails floating above a Canadian village kinda scene. It’s a very strong visual image and I wonder where the heck it came from.
Along the same lines, Js_Africanus makes me think of an old woodprint of a scholar in robes surrounded by parchment maps and such.

AND, nobody said what popped instantly into my mind when I read the thread title! The one Doper who I have a very clear mental image of. **Fairy Chat Mom ** is Wanda from Fairly Odd Parents, complete with the voice. I even hear it when I read her posts.

I always picture the beetle from A Bug’s Life.
I always pictured ** Ginger of the North** to be a 30-something from Edmonton, I don’t know why Edmonton comes to mind but it does… Maybe there is something in my past about females named Ginger from the ‘City of Champions’.

yeah, but there’s a two-step link. If you’re curious, do a Google image search, turn off filtering, type in “Annie Sprinkle” and you’ll see LOTS of images of her. I like the one where she’s a Hindu goddess. But what really comes to mind is a cheesy Playboy photo when she was doing a one-woman show where she’d bring a speculum onstage and let some audience members look at her cervix, live and in person.
