My wife loves Chicago, the 80’s Peter Cetera-era stuff. (I know it’s politically incorrect to admit that around here, but I do too.) I’d love to take her to a Chicago concert, and there’s one coming to town in 1.5 months, but only if that’s the stuff I’m most likely to hear.
Has anyone here seen them in concert recently? Am I more likely to hear “Saturday in the Park” and “Twenty-Five or Six to Four”? Or “You’re the Inspiration” and “Time to Say I’m Sorry”?
I haven’t heard Chicago live in many years, but bear in mind that Peter Cetera hasn’t been a member in a looong time. There are four original members left: pianist/vocalist Robert Lamm and the entire original horn section.
So, they probably still play the old hits that Cetera sang originally, but it will be a newer member singing them.
