Does this mean it’s kinda iffy whether or not it’s going to be around much longer? I found a reference to this term looking up a movie. (Unrelated to the question, but where I came across this: Basically this movie’s distributor was hit with a copyright infringement lawsuit, and the court document referred to the distributor as being a ‘corportation in suspense’.)
Just a guess, but it might be another term for a suspended corporation?
