Narcissus.
We’ve had three black cats in our household. My wife and I named ours Natalie Coal (our cats always have middle names). My daughter called her cat Snowball, and my son called his Shadow.
Interestingly, the first time we took our daughter’s cat to our local small-town vet, he said he treated four (!) black cats named Snowball.
1920s Style Death Ray.
Yes, the Simpsons have reached far and wide.
I love naming cats after people. Most of our cats are named after people: Irving, Orson, Albert, Isaac, Halley, Dickens. We have one named after a character (Ichabod) and one named after a book (Cosmo, named for Carl Sagan’s Cosmos because I didn’t want to name her Carl).
Soooo.
How about Ray or Rae? Bradbury, Berry, Blackberry, Bree?
I had a great black cat who’s name was Ki (rhymes with “eye”)… good 'n short.
or you could go with Hecate
Nova. Anthora. Elphaba. Isis. Or Leonora Whitstand Merril. (I like names from fictional characters.)
Like most female cats, she would most likely prefer to be adressed as “Your Majesty.”
I have a male black cat with green eyes, his name is Jack. Actually, it’s Captain Jack because when he was a tiny kitten he had a tendency to stand on his hind legs and wave his paws around drunkenly*. I suppose I could have called him Rory Calhoun for standing on his hind legs but the drunken paw waving made the Capt. Jack connection more obvious. (*he was not actually drunk)
When I think of female names that go with black, Dahlia pops into my head but that may not be a connection you’d want to make.
Hmf. Heifer is a good name.
Bast, Egyptian cat goddess.
Envy, the green eyed monster.
These are all interesting names, and there is no way I can acknowledge them all right now. Thank you all.
My cat is black with green eyes. Her real full name is Stark Raven Bonkers, but it’s Raven for short.
If you’re a “Kim Possible” fan, you could name her Shego.
I had a black cat once–his name was Jet. I’d have used the same name if it’d been a female, though.
I’ve got two black kittens now that my daughter named–Jasmine (we call her Jazz) and Puff. But I would’ve considered names such as Raven, Onyx, and Ebony.
Also, the green eyes make me think of the name Jewel.

Raven hair, jade-green eyes, feline grace, sounds like a romance novel character - maybe —Beauty?
