In the Rage Against the Machine song “Mic Check” part of the chorus is “…the pig who’s free to murder one shuclack, or survivors who make a move and murder one back.” My question is (obviously), what is a “shuclack”? It isn’t in the dictionary.
No clue, but it’s all over the Web lyrics sites spelled as “shucklak”. Let me know what you find out.
You’re not the only one who’s puzzled, BTW.

It is probably a reference to some kind of Indian, and relates to the groups support of Leonard Peltier, who killed an FBI agent.
Probably both spellings are phonetic and not correct. Even if one of them is what the group wrote.
I think it is something like Shuck-ch
In the alt.music.rage-machine newsgroup there was discussion about this and the general concensus was that it’s the sound a gun (an automatic specifically) makes when it’s cocked.
How do you murder the sound of an automatic weapon? The lyrics fail to make sense under that definition.
Maybe this won’t help, but “murder one” is cop slang for first degree (premeditated) murder.
