I have heard this mentioned on the radio and tv of late and have no idea what it is. The last time I heard it Jenna from Survivor was asked what she did with her million bucks and she said “you won’t see me with bling bling”
I can’t tell if bling bling is sex, drugs, jewlery or what.

Diamonds (or maybe any gems) - jewelry.
Anything shiny or showy. Think of the cartoon sound that diamonds or other sparkly things make when light glints off of it.
Bling bling is the trappings of thug life.
More specifically, it’s jewelry, usually gaudy.

I have to say it is quite excesive to spend 50 grand on a pinky ring but if you have millions of dollars, you tend not to care how much things cost only that it looks good and it shows how much you got it made.
